    Stuck Together (You're Gregory)

The silence in the elevator was awkward, but there are more awkward things.

Like being stuck in a broken elevator with your childhood rival. This was the situation our protagonist--poor (quite wealthy, actually), young Gregory of Yardale--found himself in.

How did he get into this situation?

It all started on a peaceful Saturday morning. Gregory had decided to go to the mall. He hadn't done it very often and had heard some rather good things about the mall there, so he decided to investigate.

And what was Stan doing at the mall? Hoping to God that he didn't run into Cartman's fatass and have him ruin a perfectly good Saturday with another plan to get half of South Park to hate him. Why wasn't he hanging out with Kyle? Kyle got grounded. Kenny? Currently babysitting Karen while his parents did whatever.

    Back to the present.

The two boys, Stanley and Gregory, had gone to the least populated elevator. By the time there was only a few floors left and they were the only two in the elevator, the chattering between people had gone and was replaced by awkward silence.

That was when it had happened: right before Stan's stop, the elevator broke down.

Gregory's heart dropped. He was stuck in an elevator with someone he despised, with no way of knowing when they would get out. It was like they were in a fanfic written by a bored teenager...

"Heh, looks like we're stuck together," Stan tried to poke some fun at the situation, but Gregory wasn't even listening.
