You, Lucius, and the other death eaters were all at the Ministry of Magic to retrieve Harry Potter’s prophecy.

Lucius had just gotten the prophecy, which was a glowing blue glass ball. He looks into it, but before he could make anything out of it, Sirius Black appeared behind him along with the other Order members.

Sirius: Get away from my Godson.

Sirius then punches Lucius and he drops the orb. The glass ball shatters on the floor as Lucius falls as well.
