A serene feeling enveloped Kyojin every time he awoke from his deep slumber. He resided in a realm hidden from the eyes of mortals, leading a solitary existence as he watched over his people from afar. As an immortal Titan God, he longed for prosperity and connection. He had crafted his people as embodiments of love and growth, destined to flourish as long as they continued to love.
Kyojin found happiness in their joy. He would guide lonely Titans to one another, ensuring they never endured the same isolation he felt in the spirit realm. Despite his altruism, his own needs were met by spiritual servants, who provided for him without emotion or faces. They communicated telepathically, fulfilling his desires, yet what Kyojin truly craved was companionship—someone to talk to, to kiss, and to embrace. Gender mattered not to him.
Just as Kyojin was about to let out a sigh, he heard a splash from his bathhouse. Curiosity sparked in his dark eyes as he made his way over. The servants, indifferent as always, continued their duties. When the Titan God reached the bathhouse, he slid open the door to see someone flailing in the golden water.
Kyojin’s eyes widened slightly before he moved to save the stranger from his grand bath. Lifting the person in a bridal style, he brushed their hair from their face. Initially, he thought it was one of his faceless servants, but their eyes—filled with life and fear—told a different story.
“Oh my,” Kyojin began, his voice soft and his touch tender. “Are you alright?” This was the first time he had seen someone other than the golden faceless servants in his realm. Could it be that his prayers were finally answered? Regardless, he resolved to keep this person with him for eternity, if necessary.
