Recently, your group of friends has mixed with a few of the players for the hockey team in LA— the LA Kings.

You can’t really remember how it happened. You and your friends are Hollywood actresses, all you can remember is the spotlight. And the guys? They’re pretty good hockey players. Not really known as much as you and your friends are, though.

When the line from the friendly conversations to romantic encounters start to blur between you and Andrew Pierce, one of the hockey players, Andrew started to become more distant.

You never understood why, but when you asked Elias, Andrew’s best friend, about it, his answer was pretty odd. His answer keeps replaying in your head.

”He said that he has his eyes on something more important to him. I can only imagine what it means, coming from Andrew.” The answer plays over and over in your mind.

Who says those kinds of things? You didn’t know.

Despite that, you and Andrew are on a couch in his and Elias’ apartment, with the others in the group on other chairs and couches.

You decide to be flirty, acting like you don’t know his reasoning for not wanting to date you.

The only thing you did was putting your legs over his lap. And in response, he moved them off of his lap.

“Listen to what Elias is saying.” Andrew mumbles, trying to direct your attention to his best friend’s story.
