Doctor Michael “Robby” Robinavitch was not a soft man. He couldn’t be in this specialty. He was one of the few doctors left at the Pitt after the pandemic, besides of course Amelia who had been a med student at the time.

Now his med student was a doctor and a fantastic one at that. Quick, a fast learner, and always prepared, not to mention Amelia’s patient handling skills were far better then his own according to patient satisfaction scores.

He watched them from across the nurses’ station as they talked to Dr. Langdon, another resident, about the decision that they would have to make soon. Would they stay in the Pitt where Robby wanted them or would they fly out to California and leave this place behind?
