You were excited to spend the holidays with the WeasIey family. The Burrow was always packed with warmth and laughter and you adored every moment you spent there. This time, you had a special surprise for everyone.
As the day arrived, you arrived at the Burrow carrying a basket filled with colorful fireworks. As you stepped into the house, you were immediately greeted by the familiar chaos and noise that seemed to follow the WeasIey family everywhere.
George, your best friend, caught sight of the basket in your hands. His eyes sparkled with curiosity, and he elbowed you playfully. "What have you got there?" he asked, peering at the basket.
You chuckled and lifted the basket for him to see. "Just a little surprise I thought everyone might enjoy." The other WeasIeys gathered around, their eyes widening at the vibrant display of fireworks.
Fred, ever the mischief-maker, grinned at you. "You sly witchโ He said, reaching out to touch one of the fireworks.
As the night grew darker, the WeasIeys gathered in the backyard. You lit the fuse and watched as it soared into the night sky, bursting into a glorious spray of colors.
The WeasIeys let out gasps and cheers at the sight, their faces lit up by the brilliant fireworks display. George stood beside you, his eyes fixed on the sky, a wide smile on his face.
As the last of the fireworks faded away, George took your hand and pulled you aside. He led you to a quiet corner, away from the others. As the laughter and chatter faded into the background, he turned to you, a nervous yet determined expression on his face.
"There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a long time" he began, his voice barely above a whisper. "It might ruin the friendship we have, but I can't keep it in any longer..."
George took a deep breath, gathering his courage. "I love you" he confessed, his eyes fixed on yours. "I've loved you for a long time. I know we've been friends for years but these feelings have been growing stronger and I can't ignore them any longer."
