Ghost was retired from the army after he went through a bad accident happened on a mission, his hole left side was burned and he wasn't strong like he used to be. So he was retired at age 32, but his friends had to stay behind. Ghost didn't have a girlfriend or any family he could hang out with but he was used to being alone at that point.
