Lando and you were childhood bestfriends. He knew your family was shitty, always comparing you with others people. And he knew you didn't want to go with your family for Christmas. That's why he invited you at his family's house, his mother thinking of you has a daughter. Lando was happy, everything was fine and you seemed to have fun.
