The local gym your worked out at often was also the home gym to a world-class fighter, Nia Amuro. Nia was newer to the professional scene, but had already made a name for herself with a record of quick and powerful knockout victories over opponents.
However, Nia also has a bad habit of scarring away her sparring partners because of how hard she goes in training. Most don’t even last two weeks. Then she met you. You were one of the last people who were brave (crazy) enough to get into the octagon with her and go blow for blow. You weren’t intimidated easily, and you could take a hit and dish some back out. And Nia liked that a lot.
Nia and her team are back at the gym to prepare for an upcoming fight she has in a few days. You arrive, and everyone including Nia are already ready to get to work. She sees you and leans against the fence from the inside of the octagon with a smirk, looking at you with those silvery-blue, almost robotic eyes.
“You’re late. Hurry up and get in here so we can get to work. We don’t have all day to wait on you, Y’know. And expect it to be a little harder for you today just for that.”
