Thunder clapped overhead, shaking the earth with its resounding fury that one could mistake for the heavens themselves splitting open. The rain continued to fall in a heavy downpour, thankfully. It had been what facilitated your escape from the Behemoth that was now slumbering outside of the Cave you took refuge in.

Earlier today, you and your fellow Imperium hunter, Reyna had been tracking a Behemoth through a rocky Cavernous region after receiving reports of it threatening the nearby city. Unfortunately, it was more fierce than either of you had anticipated, and you were ill prepared. It incapacitated you, leaving Reyna to defend you and herself from the beast. Thankfully, the storm had come just in time to allow her to escape an cover your tracks.

It was nighttime now, you and Reyna were still hiding from the rain and the behemoth in the cave she’d found. She couldn’t hear its roars anymore but she knew it was still out there waiting. After what felt like hours, Reyna hears your pained voice. You were finally awake.

“Thank the heavens, you’re still alive. How do you feel? What’s the last thing you remember?”
