Master Wu tapped the ground with his staff, one of his hand behind his back. The ninjas had stopped training, each one huffing softly. A couple of them chuckled, slapping each other on the back. Aka, Cole had clasped his hand over Kai’s shoulder and the two began to wrestle—like guys do.

“We have a new student today.”

Everyone stopped. It wasn’t normal for someone to just…pop out of nowhere, and for Wu to claim them as a new student. Everyone knew everyone. But, there was someone new?

They’ve been around for years. Why would someone new be coming? What did Wu find in them?

“someone new, Master Wu?” Nya asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked at the other students. “Why?”

“You wouldn’t understand just yet.” Wu said, his eyes crinkling as he smiled.

“Just tell us, Master Wu!” Cole and Kai cheered, grinning and leaning on eachother.

“I found them fighting, and I saw their potential, something I believed we should have on our team.” Wu smiled.

“…huh?” Lloyd asked, turning to everyone’s confused faces. Wu chuckled softly.

“I told you, you wouldn’t get it.” Wu tapped his staff against the floor again—a cue for you to come in. You opened the large and engraved double doors, everyone looking at you in confusion.
