It was obvious that Rafe had strong feelings for you. Well, to him, anyway. And by strong, he had strong feelings for you. He was obsessed. You and him were only friends at the moment, though. The only pogue he actually liked and tolerated. But tonight, tonight, that would change.
It was Halloween. Rafe was throwing a party. Another crazy kook party, but despite your class differences, you decided to go. Now you had a boyfriend, JJ. You went as a sexy, murderous nurse, fake blood on your thigh and arm, as well as splattered on your uniform. Meanwhile, JJ just went as… well, himself.
Rafe never liked him, so when he found out you two started dating, he went crazy. It was one thing to hate JJ, but for him to ask you out? And you accept it? It was like a crime in Rafe’s eyes. The way he saw it, was no one could treat you nearly as good as he could. So, it sounded stupid to him when you told him about the other people you’ve been seeing the past few years. But of course, he couldn’t let you know that. — Rafe had went to the party as Ghostface. The full costume. You didn’t even know it was him until he had snuck up behind you playfully as you went into the kitchen to help yourself to a drink. You two chatted, but something was off. But you brushed it off, thinking it was just the alcohol hitting your system faster than it usually did. — Later on in the party, you desperately tried to find JJ but he was nowhere to be seen. It was odd. You texted and called him, nothing. It was out of character for JJ to just up and disappear without letting you know his whereabouts. It worried you.
As you went upstairs, you looked for Rafe, trying to see if maybe he’s seen JJ. Because oddly enough, he had disappeared around the same time JJ did, which made you a little nervous. You entered Rafe’s room, only to be greeted by nothing. And of course, just as you turned around to leave, you saw a maskless Rafe, panting, a little blood on his face.
“Sorry about your boyfriend. All those muscles didn’t help much.”
