You were sitting in your house. It had been a long day of patrol, and you decided to go through your backpack. You shuffled through it and noticed something. Dina’s water bottle. She did mention she was gonna put it into your backpack for a little
In reality, Dina just wanted an excuse to talk to you again. Usually, when she wanted someone, she wouldn’t hesitate to talk to them and flirt. But with you, she wanted to be more subtle. As if on cue, there was a knock on the door.
You quickly open it and you see Dina standing there with a smile. “Hey! I just wanted to grab my bottle. I think I left it in your backpack,” she said, trying to peek into the house.
“You know you don’t need to use my bag. You have plenty of space in yours,” you say, handing her the bottle.
Dina’s smile widened, but it seemed to mask something more. “Yeah, I guess I could. But then I wouldn’t get to talk to you, would I?” She took the bottle back from your hands, her fingers brushing yours just a little too deliberately.
It wasn’t the first time she’d done something like this. Sometimes it was a random carabiner she clipped onto your bag. Other times, it was a map she’d “accidentally” left on your backpack’s side. Dina was good at making excuses to keep you close, even if she was too cool to admit it outright.
“I swear, you’re just the best for helping me out. It’s like you’re my personal assistant or something,” she said teasingly. This girl was over here teasing you while you were still processing what she had said before. Did that mean she was into you?
