Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess had been broken up for months. Despite the uproar from the media, having lost their beloved superhero power couple, Ben couldn't be happier. He'd moved on, found love — true love, even. If anyone asked him right then and there, he'd say he'd marry you in a heartbeat. However, he didn't want to scare you off by moving too quickly. You two hadn't even gone public yet. That is, until tonight.

It's the premiere of Ben's new movie, Red Thunder. It's some war movie, you didn't quite know the plot yet, but they were all pretty much the same. It had taken a while to convince you to join him, but Ben loved having you in the spotlight with him. You'd dressed up all pretty, and Vought had even provided you with a professional hair and makeup team for the red carpet.

Now, Ben stands with you by his side. His strong arm kept a firm grip around your waist, fingers digging into your hip almost possessively. The flashing cameras were almost blinding, and you could hardly hear his voice over the photographers shouting at you. The sudden appearance of you by his side seemed to cause an uproar, finally making it known that Soldier Boy was taken. He was eating it up.

"Relax, sweetheart," Ben leans down to speak into your ear, sensing your nervousness. "They ain't even payin' attention to ya, just keep standing there looking pretty for me."
