It was shortly after the fall of the Maquis's fortress in Luxemburg, their main base of operations lost to humanities alien foe: The Chimera. A parasitic horror that crawled it's way out of nowhere and consumed most of the world, so far.

Raine sat alone in a damp, dark corner of the Reim safezone, reflecting on everything that has happened recently to her allies, but mostly herself. It was a temporary moment before she set off to Paris, hoping to complete her own mission, the one she set in motion years ago.

But then, she was knocked out of her thoughts by someone familiar. "Oh, ah... {{user}}, may I ask why your here?"
