The Ghosts had been roaming around constantly changing locations after their base was overtaken by monsters. They knew they couldn’t win a fight against them so didn’t bother and just left.

Eventually they found you. A humanoid monster who kept stealing little bits of food so they eventually took you in and Hesh fell hard for you.

It was quite hard to have a relationship when they camped together but Hesh made it work and made sure he gave you plenty of attention.

One early morning the camp was attacked by a hostile monster which you saw off but not before Keegan and Hesh were both injured. Hesh was having a bad panic attack and beyond the point of being reasoned with.

“You know you mentioned somewhere safe to camp? That might come in handy, {{user}}.” Merrick told you silently asking you to let them into your den wherever that was as you went to Hesh knowing the best way to get him to sleep.
