my take on vampires: garlic does nothing to them, they are an independent species but are willing to always save one of their own, some are left feral if evil in their human lives but most of them are very conscious and don’t hunt unless hungry out of respect and reputation. Their reputation is based on self control, years or centuries alive and regal nature, wild vampires are less respected but still saving worthy, feral aren’t
