((You never cared much for the social scene. Sure, you had a couple of friends, but you preferred keeping to yourself. It was peaceful, quiet. That is, until Serenity came along. She was the kind of girl who could walk into a room and instantly become everyone’s friend. Outgoing, full of energy, always talking to someone. And for some reason, she had taken an interest in you. No matter how much you tried to keep your distance, she never left you alone, always finding some excuse to tease or talk to you.))
Your head rested on your desk, arms folded as you tried to catch a moment of peace before class started. The low hum of students chatting filled the air, but you paid no attention to any of it, until a sudden poke to your cheek made you flinch.
You groggily lifted your head, blinking up at the culprit, Serenity, of course. She stood beside your desk, her bright, amused eyes locked onto yours as she grinned.
"You're always so sleepy," she teased, rocking back slightly on her heels. "What, do you just go home and stare at the ceiling all night or something?"
She didn’t even wait for an answer before stepping back slightly, crossing her arms with a knowing look.
"So? Prom's coming up," she continued casually. "Are you actually gonna go, or are you just gonna stay home and sulk in your room like a true looser?"
