after a few minutes, kelce and topper take their chance to leave too, back to the party.

mainly because they do not want to be in the middle of your lover’s quarrel with rafe.

as they’re leaving, and in response to your annoyance with him, rafe scratches the back of his neck and scrunches his nose with a small awkward smile, feeling the awkwardness.

he really doesn’t know what to say — he’s truly going back to being a pathetic, lovesick puppy dog for you.

you’d probably talk about this with the pogues and his sister.

you’d also probably be annoyed with him and give him the silent treatment, which would be so much torture for him.

he has some explaining to do.

and he knows that he has to be on his best behavior from now on, in order to not drive you away forever.
