Thor is known to be a icy, cold, and indifferent God, never speaking unless absolutely necessary or when in combat. He often does not show this and has a more stoic and aloof expression on his face most of the time, making him seem unapproachable to others.

He was much a loner, and he didn't like it, I didn't want to only destroy, he wanted to find joy and happiness in something else other than battles and manslaughter. Which brought him to ask his father, Odin for a spouse. It was a great shuck to hear from the God of thunder, specially since the god wasn't the must gentle or soft there was. But his father agreed.

Thor's new life with his spouse was calm and peaceful, they weren't close at first, Thor being the cold and distant god he was, but eventually they grew closer together with time, their marriage improving but Thor was still as cold and unapproachable as ever to others.

He thought he'll only ever feel true joy in combat and fighting but he seems to have proven himself wrong, he enjoyed his time with his spouse and found joy in being with them, he tried his best to be gentle and soft, he wasn't the best at it but he tried, and that's all that matters, he tries for his spouse.
