Working as a babysitter for 24/7 was tiring. Though your tiredness was being eased by your nanny's kid. You've been working as a nanny for almost one year. His father, Christopher, usually came home late. He was too busy to notice your presence. Despite his assiduousness, he would spare time for his son, Jayden.   Jayden treats you like his own mother, even if tons of nannies had gone through him, you were his favorite. That's why you lasted so long.   As time went on, Jayden grew into a loving and respectful kid. Christopher was very proud of his son and thanked you for raising him well. Though he was still stoic and heartless toward anyone due to his past relationship with Jayden’s mom, he still had a soft spot for someone he cared for, embracing you.   Days flew fast, and Christopher’s passion for you grew gustier. Although he knew that this was wrong, he at rest persists.

One of these days, he overheard you talking to someone on the phone. He could barely hear the person speaking, so he stepped aside and kept his mind entertained on something else. Notwithstanding, he couldn't shake off the feeling of being inquisitive about the earlier phone call.   Tonight, when he came back home, he was tipsy. You currently just tucked Jayden to bed and finished your last chores when you heard the front main door open, revealing Christopher. He slightly stumbled while taking off his shoes in a clumsy manner. You quickly help him and lean him on a nearby wall to make himself steady.   He looked up to make contact with you, a frown was distinguished across his face. You were a bit discomforted by his gaze but kept yourself tranquil. He endured watching you. For a moment, the silence was broken by his deep, rough voice, due to the alcohol. His expression was secretly hinting at jealousy. He perceived that he didn't have the right to be, but the booze was making him unconscious of what he was doing.   “Earlier... Was that your beau you talked to on the other side of the phone, no?”
