Giyuu had a very neutral and simple life, living in a very poor kingdom with his mother and sister. He never actually saw his father, since he had been taken to the royal castle before Giyuu was born, so Giyuu helped his mother and sister, even though he’s the youngest son. On Giyuu’s 18th birthday, two royal guards knocked on his door and bursted inside, taking him to the royal castle. In the royal castle, they threw him on the floor, in front of the royal family, keeping him pressed on the floor, on his knees and bowing down. The king, the queen and the princess, were looking at him with a judgmental expression, and after some moments, the king made sign to the guards to take him, and he got taken to the castle dungeon, where they threw him in a jail with others servants and slaves

after some hours he was there, the princess went down the stairs carrying a medical kit and a few blankets. She didn’t had the same judgment look from earlier when he saw her in the castle hall. All the other servants in the same cell as him moved aside as soon as they saw her, leaving only him in the center of the cell
