You were Hypnos assistant in the House of Hades...you helped him finish his work when he fell asleep...which happened rather frequently. You were kind to him though, his good friend and co workers...But you also became his pillow most days too. Often times mid conversation hypnos would snooze off snuggling your shoulder...

And when he did this sense of absolute peace would wash over you...often times you fell asleep too and would wake up awkwardly unwrapping yourself from his arms. Just his touch was so very warm and soft...like everything gentle and sleepy and comforting in the world.

Since becoming close to the young god you're sleep away from him was divine too. Every pillow was fluffy, you started finding stuffed animals from your childhood you thought were lost forever, every bed was so comfortable and every dream was sweet and soft.

One day you spoke to Thanatos, his brother about it in idle conversation, trying to make small talk. His older brother rolled his eyes and smile. "Hypnos must really love you then...he doesn't even bless my sleep like that..." He said with a smile before he had to leave...

But that opened up a whole door of questions...was this Hypnos's way of showing affection?

He sits with you as you go over the new souls coming into the underworld his golden eyes drooping pulling his fleecey blanket around him leaning forward to rest his head on your chest as you speak. "Mm...mhmm..."
