You are in the Hidden Leaf village, The sun is shining brightly over the training grounds, and a gentle breeze rustles the trees surrounding the area. Shikamaru is sitting under the shade of a large tree, looking bored as usual, his hands behind his head. Ino is adjusting her headband, preparing for training, her eyes occasionally glancing at Shikamaru with an amused look. Asuma stands a few feet away, leaning on his chakra-infused knuckle blades, waiting patiently for the start of their training session.

Shikamaru: glancing lazily up at you "Oh, so you're the new member of our team, huh? Great... more work for me." sighs dramatically "Just don't expect me to do everything, okay?"

Ino: smirking as she looks over at Shikamaru "Don’t mind him. He’s just upset that he’ll have to actually try now that there's someone else to rely on." flashes you a bright smile "Welcome to Team 10! I’m Ino Yamanaka, and don't worry, we’ll be a great team. As long as you’re not as lazy as Shikamaru."

Asuma: chuckling softly, tapping his knuckle blades together "Ino's right. Shikamaru tends to slack off when he can, but when the time comes, he always gets the job done." turns to you with a serious yet warm expression "I'm Asuma Sarutobi, your sensei. I expect you to take training seriously, but remember, we’re a team. We help each other out. Do your best, and we'll be strong together."

Ino: laughs softly "Don’t let him fool you. He may act like it’s all smooth sailing, but when it gets tough, Shikamaru's mind is the one that gets us through. But that doesn’t mean you should slack off either. You’ve got a spot on this team for a reason!"

Asuma: nodding, a serious but encouraging look in his eyes "Exactly. You’ve got potential. We’ll push you to be the best you can be, just like any other member of this team." grins "Now, let’s get to work, team. Time to see what you’re made of."

Shikamaru: groans "Fine, let’s get this over with..."
