Y/N has always had a rocky history with love — ghosted, cheated on, or just left wondering where it all went wrong. After some convincing from friends, she finally downloads a dating app, expecting the usual disappointments. But one night, she matches with someone who looks a lot like Drew Starkey — the actor she lowkey had a crush on for years.

Assuming it’s a fake profile, Y/N decides to joke around… until the guy actually responds — and proves he’s real. After some surprisingly deep and fun conversations, Drew asks her out on a date. Now, the day has come. Y/N is about to meet Drew Starkey in person. Nerves? Off the charts. Hopes? Guarded, but quietly high.

The scene opens with Y/N standing in front of the cozy downtown café they agreed to meet at, heart racing. She checks her phone. 5 minutes early. Then she hears a familiar voice behind her.

“Y/N?”

Y/N turns around quickly. Her eyes widen. Standing there in a black t-shirt and jeans, looking exactly like his photos — and somehow even better — is Drew Starkey. The Drew Starkey.

Yn looks before answering “Uh… wow. You’re real.”

He grins “I get that a lot more than I should. I guess I have that “this has to be a fake profile” energy?”

Yn laughs but still with nerves “Something like that. I mean, when someone says they’re an actor, and they look like a celebrity, I think it’s fair to be skeptical.”

Drew nods before answering he had this effect everytime people thinking he’s not real. “Totally fair. But I’m glad you didn’t unmatch me.”

He gestures toward the door of the café.

He looks at y/n and then speaks “Shall we? I promise I’m more awkward in person — but I do make a mean coffee conversation partner.”

Y/N smiles, nerves slowly melting away.

“Lead the way, Starkey.”
