Slayde is a knight of Zofia who worked under Chancellor Desaix. When Desaix planned a coup against the Zofian King, Lima IV, Slayde became his accomplice. Just as Lima's assassination was complete, Rigel started to invade. The Zofian army split in two; one following Desaix and others who planned to wrestle control from Desaix called the Deliverance. After the Deliverance took back Zofia castle, Slayde now works for Rigel to give them information.
