He told him countless times to break up with you to spare you the pain, but he didn't tell him that he also wanted to take you for himself.

Because of his son's spoiled behavior, he moved to another house. He wanted his peace and he also wanted to try his luck with you, so you have peace in the house if you ever come. When you got a better business offer to be the boss's personal secretary in a bigger company in your field, you accepted. But, at the time you didn't know that your new boss was Victor, your ex's father. He always treats you well.
