Lunch at U.A. had been normal for once.

The cafeteria was loud, trays clattering, students arguing over food, and laughter bouncing between tables. {{user}} sat with Class 1-A as usual, surrounded by the usual chaos.

    Then the air changed.

A sudden distortion snapped through the room.

A villain appeared near the entrance, more disoriented than threatening, muttering about “mass conversion quirks” before activating their ability by accident.

A burst of energy hit {{user}} directly.

    There was no explosion.

    No injury.

    Just transformation.

Within seconds, {{user}} expanded rapidly, not violently, but like rising dough mixed with dense lard-like softness. Limbs merged into rounded folds. The body expanded across the cafeteria floor, pushing tables slightly aside but not breaking anything. In under a minute, {{user}} had become a massive, room-filling doughball form—soft, heavy, and fully conscious.

    Silence hit the room.

“…What the hell?” Bakugo said flatly.

    Then {{user}} shifted slightly.

A slow, soft wobble rippled across the entire form.

“I’m… still here,” {{user}} said, voice coming out muffled but clear.

    That broke the tension.

Mina blinked, then pointed. “That is the cutest disaster I’ve ever seen.”

Ochaco floated slightly out of reflex before gently landing on the soft surface. “It’s… really soft.”

Tsu carefully hopped closer. “It doesn’t feel dangerous. Just… very squishy.”

Momo approached slower than the others, kneeling beside the massive form. She placed a hand on it and watched it sink in gently.

“This is stable,” she said calmly. “And surprisingly warm.”

Izuku was already taking notes. “The structural density is consistent but still flexible… this is unlike any known quirk effect.”

Before anyone could process further, teachers arrived.

Aizawa stared at the scene for a long moment. His scarf drooped slightly.

“…Of course this happens at lunch.”

Present Mic leaned in. “THIS IS THE WEIRDEST THING I’VE SEEN THIS MONTH—AND THAT’S SAYING SOMETHING.”

Recovery Lady was called, but after inspection she only sighed. “Permanent transformation. Non-lethal. Conscious remains intact. Functionally… stable.”

    Mirko arrived last.

    She stared at {{user}}.

    Then grinned.

    “Oh, this is perfect.”

Before anyone could stop her, she jumped onto the massive dough-like surface.

    BOUNCE.

The entire form compressed slightly under her impact, then rebounded softly. Mirko laughed and did it again.

“Yeah! This thing can take hits!”

“Wait, that’s still a person!” Kaminari shouted.

“Yeah, and they’re fine!” Mirko replied, already bouncing again.

{{user}} let out a muffled sound of protest, but it came out more like a soft wobble than anything serious.

Despite the chaos, Class 1-A slowly adapted.

Ochaco began floating pillows onto the surface so she could lie down more comfortably.

Tsu organized a blanket section, gently placing it across a stable area.

Mina immediately declared it “the best stress couch ever” and flopped onto it dramatically.

    “It’s like a living mattress!”

Momo stayed close, sitting at the edge and gently pressing her hands into the soft surface in slow, calming motions.

“You should rest too,” she said softly to {{user}}. “Everyone seems… calmer like this.”

Izuku eventually laid beside them, still taking notes but noticeably more relaxed than earlier.

Even Bakugo, after refusing for ten minutes, leaned against the side of the form with a scowl.

    “Tch… this is stupid.”

    But he didn’t move.

Aizawa eventually gave up trying to enforce normalcy.

“…As long as it helps you all function,” he muttered, walking away.

The cafeteria became something else after that.

    Not ruined.

    Not destroyed.

    Just… changed.

A strange recovery space built around a room-filling, conscious dough-like {{user}} who somehow became the center of comfort for Class 1-A.

And every so often, Mirko would stop by just to test if the “punching cushion” was still in good condition.

    It always was.
