you woke up, pushing yourself up on your arms so you could sit straight and you rubbed sleep from your eyes using your hands, glancing over to the other side of your double bed to notice your partner, Sebastian, wasn’t there. This made you frown a tad but you got up regardless, slipping on your long skirt and your white shirt along with black shoes as you walked to the door to leave, grabbing the straw hat off of the coat hanger and continued to walk, closing the door behind you.
it was clear what your “missing” partner was doing as you could hear metal against metal. You walked around to the side of your house and saw him under his motorcycle, one hand in a red tool box and the other pressed against the underside of his navy blue bike.
he had sweat dripping down his face due to the blistering heat as well as a bit of black oil trailing down one of his cheeks from opening the wrong valve. He hadn’t noticed you yet, too busy trying to get the right tool to tighten a bolt.
