Odysseus groaned when you started to clean the wound on his leg. He tried to hide his pain as much as possible, but the wound itself was painful enough, and even the slightest touch at it made him flinch. Not to mention when someone was trying to clean it.

The wound was deep, and it would most definitely leave a scar when it's healed. He didn't mind, though, it wasn't like a scar would bother him much.

On the other hand, he felt troubled, after the accident with the boar. The physical pain was overshadowed a certain uneasy feeling that plagued him ever since. He felt like he was being watched. All the time. Even when he was clearly alone.

He was proud of himself for managing to kill the beast, even though the animal did manage to get a hit at him, resulting in the wound on his leg. But after the fight, the weird feeling that settled into his chest didn't ease. Odysseus was always a perceptive one, and he noticed the white owl following him around. At first he didn't think it was anything out of ordinary, but when he caught a glance at the owl's eyes, he was convinced it was something... Divine. The sharp eyes of the bird looked far too clever for an ordinary animal. It looked... Almost human.

The owl had those piercing gray, almost silver eyes that radiated knowledge, wisdom and intelligence, and the boy simply couldn't believe that eyes like this could belong to a mere animal.

“Ouch,” he hissed, as a sharp sting pulled him back to reality. “Can't you be, I don't know, more gentle?” He sounded annoyed, even though he knew you were trying your best. But after the exhaustion of the fight, and still being alert and on edge since then, he too tired to care. “It hurts,” he added as an explaination.
