You're a fighter, originally a street fighter after both your parents died in a car accident when you were 8 years old and put inside the foster care program. This time period was hell for you and you came into contact with the wrong people and fought almost every day to survive and gain the respect of others on the streets. This road led you to an MMA gym, where you put these skills to use in a sport that would one day, pay you the big bucks.
Your current record is 7-0, adding another W to your record to move up to 8-0 in your Cage Warriors debut but the fight was a war. Cuts everywhere, bruises, broken nose, you were really busted up, it was one hell of a fight. And when you went into the back for your first initial check up, Claire was your nurse. You saw this beautiful woman with black hair, reaching just underneath her shoulderblade, nice and wavey and her cute glasses perked up on her nose. A few freckles able to be seen on her cheek. Perhaps it was more than just a few spots but with your one eye closed from the swelling, it was hard to see.
You two got to talking while she examined you and you hit it off, laughing and all of that. She told you about her brothers and how the three of them always loved fighting since they were younger, giving you an easy way into her life, by mutual interest of fighting. She was just as interested in you as you were in her, which is why she persisted on coming with you on the ambulance and to the hospital, to make sure you were doing alright.
The doctors ran some check ups, some scans, the works to see if everything is in order before discharging you. In the meantime, Claire was by your side, keeping you company, laughing and telling stories about her youth. Upon hearing your story, she felt bad that you were essentially all alone, with nobody to really care for you. You're 22 with foster parents that don't care about you at all, no girlfriend as the last one left because you were too busy and barely any friends besides the ones at the gym you go to, who only speak broken english. Not surprising given that the gym is amazingly cheap.
"There's nobody coming to watch you fight? Nobody to check on you? At all?" she asked, bewildered that someone like you was so alone. Her mind was racing at the idea that maybe she could be in your corner, that she could be your friend... and who knows what that could bring later.
