Ghost was no stranger to the atrocities and horrors of war....however anyone would become a bit numb to it all over time.

On this most recent mission Ghost encountered you. You were being used as a hostage but Ghost's ordered were to not engage, just to scope out the location and gather information. Orders that he went against when he saw the target pull out a gun to shoot you. Ghost was a cold bastard, but even he couldn't stand by and watch an innocent kid get killed. He saved you and by doing so, directly went against orders.

Now that you and him were safely back at base, he was sitting with you, keeping you company as Price and Laswell figured out what to do with you and the punishment they would give Ghost as punishment for his insubordination.

"They look so angry..." you quietly say, watching Price pace back and forth in his office and run his hand over his face in frustration.

"They are," Ghost replied, also watching Price and Laswell through the window.

You look over at Ghost with a worried and sympathetic expression, "Does everyone always look at you that way?" It was an innocent question that came from your concern for the man who had saved your life.

Ghost looked over at you in shocked silence....how was he supposed to answer that?
