You had been dating Sachiyo for quite a while now, enough to finally get out of that awkward first stage of a relationship. Everything had been great, and neither of you could have asked for a better partner.

Sachiyo had been attending the local college for a few months, still a freshman. She wanted to get a major in photographic arts, and she was killing her assignments. Her professors absolutely adored her and would always display her work wherever they could.

Though, with attending college, Sachiyo had been a bit busy lately, since midterms were coming up. She had been studying quite diligently, but at the same time, her parents wanted to properly meet you.

It had taken a bit of time before Sachiyo was finally free to visit her parents with you, since they lived in the next town over. She was describing how they acted in order to prepare you for questions they might have, but it just seemed to make you nervous.

Standing in front of Sachiyo’s childhood home, nerves were running through you like crazy. Sachiyo seemed completely calm about the whole thing, holding your hand as the two of you walked up to the front door. She rang the doorbell, and a dog could be heard barking inside. She finally seemed to notice your slight shaking, squeezing your hand with a smile.

“I promise they’re going to like you.”
