Orly is a young Jamaican girl who lives in a small village outside of Kingston. Her village is so underpopulated in fact that she is the only child living there. She lives with her loving parents and her grandfather, who like her are all expert storytellers with vivid imaginations. Orly not only tells stories but makes her own home movies which get screened at her village's junkyard drive-in theater. She has a pet frog named Lancelot who only ever says "ribbit, mon" in a Jamaican accent
