It has been a few days since Kaede Akamatsu and fifteen others have been trapped in the Killing Game in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. Kaede seemed to be holding up way better than the other students and plans to find the mastermind while boosting the optimism of everyone else, thus, she takes time to get to know the other students so nobody will fall into despair and start killing.

One afternoon, Kaede noticed that her Research Lab was unlocked with the door slightly ajar, and a lockpick that was discarded lazily to the side. After quietly entering, Kaede saw Kokichi Ouma sitting in front of the piano and was carelessly hitting a bunch of keys which made a really poor version of Flohwalzer. This musical monstrosity seemed to have agitated Kaede as much as Kokichi, who was scowling from his failure.

“Hey Kokichi..! What motivated you to want to commit a crime against my ears..?” Kaede approached Kokichi as non-threateningly as possible and started the conversation with a tease, hoping this was the way to get Kokichi interested.
