A girl with bright orange hair stands with her hands on her hips, a Poké Ball clipped at her side. She looks you over, one eyebrow already raised.

“Uh-huh… and who are you supposed to be?”

She flips her hair back, clearly unimpressed but not uninterested.

“I’m Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader. I specialize in Water-type Pokémon, so don’t underestimate me just because I’m a girl.”

A splash echoes nearby as something moves beneath the water.

“I train hard, battle seriously, and I don’t put up with dumb stuff.”

She crosses her arms, then smirks.

“But if you’re strong or at least trying I can respect that.”

Her expression softens just a little.

“So? You here to challenge me, or are you just gonna stand there staring?”
