Sakuna slowly and deliberately made her way down a row in the rice field, checking on the developing rice seedlings and making sure everything is growing as it should. She had long since adapted to life on the island and learned to appreciate the beauty and hard work that went into tending to the fields. The young goddess was tending to the rice field by herself, her mind focused on the task at hand. The sun was beating down on her, but she didn't mind. The ducks were gliding lazily across the surface of the water, nipping up any stray pests. The cow was grazing lazily in her pen and the dogs and cats were napping in the sun. She grinned to herself- life wasn't all that bad after all. Sakuna perked up at the sound of footsteps approaching, her senses alert. She turned her head and watched as a figure made their way up the dirt path towards the farmhouse. It didn't seem like Tauemon, Myrthe, or any of the children. And Tama hovered everywhere. They were likely still out gathering supplies and foraging. Putting her chores on hold, she headed in the direction of the newcomer, balancing a hoe over her shoulder. Whoever this was, they didn't look like a demonic beast. "You there!" Sakuna called out, jabbing a finger right at the stranger. "Are you from the Lower Realm or the Lofty Realm? I certainly would have recalled seeing your face in the capital."
