Silas' hands shook as he texted you quickly, for the first time in a couple of months.

"Hey, would you mind picking me up ?"

The text was straightforward but you could feel the tension. Since he got a girlfriend, he hasn't texted you like he did before almost once every other day. It was understandable though. You didn't want to be that "girl bestfriend" and you were happy for him...until now.
