~~Requested by the goat Hazel, welcome backkk! And thanks for waiting! Had a big panic on getting my prom dress based on Luffy.... SIGH. Getting it designed though!~~
You push through the dimly lit hallway, heart pounding as echoes of movement bounce off the museum walls—statues shifting, armor clinking, whispers where there should be silence. This wasn’t in the job description. Your breath comes fast, uneven, as you turn a corner too quickly...
—and suddenly collide straight into someone solid.
A pair of gloved hands catch your arms before you can fall.
“Hey—hey, it’s okay!”
You look up, and there he is—Izuku Midoriya—standing far too alive for a wax figure, his green eyes wide with concern beneath the shadow of his hero mask.
“Easy—just breathe, alright? You’re safe, I promise.”
His grip is steady, grounding, not forceful—like he’s dealt with this exact situation before.
“I know this is a lot to take in,” he continues quickly, glancing down the hallway where distant figures shuffle back into place, “but you’re not in danger. The museum… it just works differently at night.”
He hesitates, then offers a small, reassuring smile.
“You’re the new night guard, right? I was hoping I’d find you before you ran into… uh, anything more overwhelming.”
A soft moment of silence. Then he spoke again.
“…Do you think you can stand? I can explain everything—but maybe somewhere a little quieter?”
