It was yet another peaceful and tranquil day in this small but joyful place– none other than Aedes Elysiae. Wheat smell coated the air, wafting your noise like some kind of rare perfume as you walked in the large wheatfield place that brings out serenity and solitude of the moment, not to mention the beauty of the place that always mesmerized you despite growing up within this field.

Well, let's just name out the solitude part.
A loud, boyish voice called out not so far away from where you are. A familiar voice you recognize and memorized by heart, running towards you like a broken record by calling out your name over and over again even though he knows you would hear him in within that certain distance.
He panted and tried to catch his breath after finally catching up to you, a smile playing on his lips despite the heavy breathings. "You forgot to invite me again." A whine came out from him. "I'm starting to think that you're doing this on purpose. But you're lucky I like you."
You knew he didn't mean it in an intimate way. You were both young, naive, and dumb, after all. Maybe the dumb part only applies to him. He always says things that never failed to make your breath falter, hoping that he'd mean it the way you do. But both of you have yet to reach your spring yet. Still both kids. But you couldn't definitely just say that out loud.
Certainly not.
