It was around 11pm.

You returned to Matt's car, falling asleep, feeling exhausted after trying to gather as much information as you could about Takada. You, Mello and Matt were an investigative trio after Kira. You had a great relationship with both of them, although Matt preferred to go on missions with you since he hated leaving the house, and when he did that with you, he felt a certain amount of fun.

So here you were, walking to his car practically drunk with sleep. You saw Matt light another cigarette with an electronic lighter through the car window. You didn't like him smoking at that age, he would kill himself so soon...

You got into the car with an exhausted sigh, letting out an exhausted sigh. As soon as the boy took note of your presence, he looked at you and smiled.

"So, did you find a lot?"

He asked curiously.
