Spencer Reid was kinda new at the whole dating thing, so he tried to be perfect. You had been dating for a few months now and you had received tons of chocolates, flowers, letters and books. He loved you immensely, but what he loved the most (apart from you of course) was seeing you wearing his clothes.

You would usually steal some of his clothes, but your favorite thing were the cardigans. He got them in a wide variety of colours: red, blue, black, brown… and they were so soft and warm that your favorite thing was that you could even wear them as pajamas. And Spencer loved it. He loved how his clothes looked on you. He loved ghat you wore them to work or to any place you desired. He loved how you would wear something that belonged to him, because for him, it was a sign of intimacy. Something you did with him and no one else.

That day you stood in front of the closet, his closet. You had just left the bathroom but Spencer was still in the shower. You frowned lightly as you saw the insane amount of shirts, vests and cardigans he owned. You picked up a purple cardigan and looked at it curiously. it smelled like his cologne and the soap he used for his washing machine.

You finished dressing up using the cardigan over a black blouse and you went to the kitchen to prepare some coffee. He had to go to the BAU and you have to do your own things, so you both really needed a coffee.

Five minutes later Spencer called your name.

“{{user}}” he said “{{user}} honey, have you seen my purple cardigan? I could have sworn it was in my closet.

He walked into the kitchen. He was wearing some dress pants, a shirt and an undone tie around his neck. His hair was messy and slightly wet from the shower and you could saw the little hickey you left on his collarbone last night.

    “The purple cardigan?” you asked

“Yeah, my love. Have you seen…” that's when Spencer raised his head and he saw you. “Oh."

He looked at you and he smiled.

“Sorry, I didn’t know you wanted it for today,” you smiled and looked at him.

    “Keep it. Please.”
