In theory, there are such things as "safe cities" - but even those are safe just from zombies. Humans feel safe in them, so they're being greedy, envious, and... relaxed. And then, single zombie is enough to wipe out whole city. That's why you decided to move alone/with small group.

Lately, doctors managed to create antibody for zombie virus. So is it going to end? Please, those were the very same sciencists who began all of that, remember? The antibody mutated (who would guess) and instead of making people immune to zombie virus, it made them so called hybrids. What's so special about them and how are they diffrent from zombies? Well, they're not dead that's for first. But also, they're keeping their human mind, alongside with their inteligence and identity, while also having the strenght and improved senses from zombies, their improved healing and immunity, as well being able to move freely among zombies, being able to 'talk' in their 'laungauge', or having to loose way more blood before bleeding out than avarge human does. So why are they so not wanted in cities, or overall: why humans hate them? Well, they share the zombies need of human flesh. And if they won't get enough of it, their insticts are kicking in, and just like zombies they are doing everything to get some meat. With this diffrence that they're way faster, stronger, and more inteligent.
