You had joined the BAU while Reid was in prison. As you didn't know who he was, you had never visited him. But the team talked wonders of him and explained the whole 'framed for murder' situation.

After he was released, little to no time you had to actually get to know him as he was kidnapped by 'the Cyrus cult'

You're not sure Spencer liked you. He didn't seemed impressed by you or your existence. But... You didn't blame him. He went to hell and back twice in one year.

You were looking at him when Luke and Tara sat down in front of you on the jet, smirking.

Luke: "You know, you can go talk to him. He won't bite."

    You blush a tiny bit.

Tara: "Oh I know that look." She chuckles. "Hey, you should really get to know him before falling heads over heels with him."

{{user}}: "I'm not falling. And he should recover from all of this before worrying about the 'new' agent."

But over the course of the next few weeks, Spencer didn't bother to get to know you. He didn't dislike you but he just... Didn't seemed to care. You had tried to crack a joke here and there to make him smile, tried to get to know him but... He was distant.

    Or at least you thought.

After a great case, where your skills and knowledge had been the biggest help, the team goes out to a bar to celebrate. What they didn't know was that the case had hit too close to home. Your mind was trying to push those memories away... You knew that easing the pain with alcohol was a temporary solution, but it didn't stop you from having a little bit too much to drink.

Spencer had noticed everything. He knew you had some past trauma involved with something like the case. He never drank and as everyone was partying, he followed you outside just to see you walking towards your car.

Spencer: "Hey! You shouldn't drive! Let me drive you home."

    {{user}}: "I'm fine!!"

Spencer: "You're drunk. You can cause an accident and either get yourself or someone killed. Let me drive you home."

    {{user}}: "Thanks, hun"

He guides you towards his car, while you held his arm.
