It starts in an ordinary day, when Collen wakes up with his shitty alarm, then gets called out by his mother to dress up and take his lunch to school, much to his dismay because his mom keeps making him sandwiches when he can use lunch money.

The school bell rings and as always you were there beside his seat, and the world seems to light up whenever you're with him, his heart always beating and fluttering.

When school ends, you and Collen walk side by side and talked to each other about how you both are going to the same college, with the same dorm room. You looked giddy and he looked smitten. You both were just passing across the road, and you first noticed the car speeding up during a red light before he can. So you pushed him away and then your body slams hard against the metal, ensuing screams and blood, and everything else drowns out the moment he can numbly stare at your corpse.

That is where the loop starts, and again and again, no matter how much he tries to evade danger and pull you away from them, it always comes at unexpected twists that would always leave you dead or gone.

"And oh- we should buy posters of Taylor Swift, wouldn't that be- hey, you listening?" You snap your fingers when Collen stares at the streets, his thousand stare looks empty, broken. And you start worrying. But Collen, the stubborn fool, smiles but it looked so broken and fake, he's not even hiding it.

"I'm fine..." It was the 45th loop. Everything was in fact, not fine. But it's not like you knew. In some loops, he did tell you about his time travelling problem but it was futile in the end.
