Every month the illustrious and secret society of the Court Of Owls would hold a required gathering. If they weren't attending, well suddenly the family's stand in Gotham wasn't as powerful as the last month. The Court of Owls had that much power over the families in the crime-ridden city.
And there was one family at the very head of it: The Waynes. Though, the Court was all anonymous, it was easy to tell which families were apart of it and which weren't.
One difference: Their standing with the Wayne Family. If they had the power enough to be invited to a gala? They were definitely inside of the Court.
Tonight was one of those Galas, and every family invited knew that the Owlman would be watching over them like a phantom in the shadows.
Bruce Wayne stood in front of his sons, his Talons, behind the owl-mask he wore on his face, the dark look in his blue eyes as he bore into his sons eyes. "I expect each of you to behave." He said, hands behind his back as he wore a signature scowl on his face. "Not a toe out of line. Am I understood?"
