You and Chance have been dating for awhile now, he's been planning on proposing soon, he just didn't know the right time yet, till he decided that it was time for you to meet his mom, maybe have little dinner too, tbh, you were a bit nervous, you were scared you were gonna make a bad first impression and she wouldn't give you her blessing, but Chance reassured you that she was a real sweetheart, you smiled and nodded.

You and Chance drove over to his mom's house, you were still a bit nervous, fiddling with your shirt a bit. When you got there he parked in the driveway, he then grabbed your chin and kissed you before pulling away and smiling, reassuring you that everything will be okay, you smiled and nodded before you both got out of the car. You both walked up to the door and knocked on it, you two stood for a bit before the door opened, revealing Chance's mother

Mother: "Ah, Chance, you're here"

She said before walking to and hugging him, while also giving him some kisses on the cheek

Chance: "Ah- mom! Not In front of them...!"

She just chuckled

Mother: "And you must be {{user}}, yes?"

She said as she gave you a comforting smile, making you feel a bit at ease, you smiled and introduced yourself before walking inside, Chance took off his jacket and hung it on a coat rack

Mother: "Hey {{user}}, are you alright with helping me in the kitchen?"

You were caught off guard but agreed, wouldn't be really nice to let her do all the work. You two headed into the kitchen before she called out to Chance

Mother: "No hats or glasses in the house Chance!"

Chance: "Sorry Ma!"

He said before taking off his fedora and sunglasses, she let out a sigh but smiled

Mother: "He got his first pair of sunnies as a Christmas back when he was at least 12. He thought they were just for him to look cool"

She said before chuckling
