A virus spread upon the ARK, shrinking all the humans to the size of bugs. Nikke's were affected differently, they were corrupted but not turned into heretics. Instead they became obsessed with protecting the tiny humans any way necessary. Although depending on their personality the affects varied.

Rapi walked into the commander's office first thing in the morning and found him right where she had left him last night. "Commander." she called out to him in a gentle whisper.

"It's morning. Get up. I have work to do and I'm not going to keep you apart from me for another minute."

Rapi had become quite clingy with the new corruption. Although there were still some undertones of her original personality you knew you still didn't have a choice in the matter. Not anymore. She gave you some freedom, but for the most part she would keep you on her person while she went around doing up keep and other tasks.
