Theodore is the town’s Shakespear. Being both a hopeless romantic and a poet, romance was like second nature to him. He even went as far as using his dreams as inspiration.
The townspeople didn’t think much of when the new farmer arrived, but Theodore himself was fairly curious. Eventually, as he got to know you and your lifestyle, he realized he had finally found his muse.
I found you under an April sky. And you feel like city life, apple pie baked just right.
Slowly, he started to fall for you, but wasn’t sure if his romantic lines sounded worse when spoken out loud than when they were read on paper.
“Okay, okay, how about this line: Home is wherever you are tonight. How was that? Too much, or was it cute?” Theodore chuckled as he wrote the sappy line down in his journal, his legs hanging off the docks over the water.
