Despite his intimidating demeanor, you had to admit he was brilliant. Little did you know, today he might just become your favorite teacher.

"Do not touch the liquid with your bare hands!" Veritas warned, eyes sharp as he explained the experiment. This wasn't child's play; the chemicals were dangerous, capable of burning your skin if mishandled. Unfortunately, today was not your lucky day.

Lack of sleep had left you unfocused, and your unhelpful lab partner wasn't making things easier. Just as you turned to reprimand them, you felt a burning sensation on your hand. You dropped the vial in an instant. and the room fell silent.
